Postgraduate and PhD Program of Kumoh National Institute of Technology

Based on the Agreement between Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) and Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), KIT would like to invite some prospective students from QUST each major shown below for next spring semester (starting from early September 2009) as follows:

   ∴ Degree program: Master's or Ph.D. degree

    - Major area to be studied:

       a. Mechanical Eng.: Fuel cell system, Metal Hydride system, Structural Design, Dynamics, Vibration

       b. Civil & Environmental Eng.: Water Resources Engineering, Atmospheric Environment

       c. Material Sci. & Eng.: Materials Science and Eng., Mechanical Eng.

       d. Polymer/Textile/Fashion Eng.: Polymer Science and Eng., Chemical Eng., Materials Science and Eng., Textile, Polymer Materials

       e. Industrial Management: International Finance,

          Investment & Security Analysis, Financial Management

Benefits for the student include:

      1) Exemption of tuition

      2) Dormitory will be provided but the fee has to be paid by themselves about 650,000 won including lunch & dinner per semester.

Anyone who is interested, please prepare the following documents and send the original documents by express mail no later than April 30, 2009 .

 2) Transcripts

 3) Certificate of Bachelor for Master Program candidates

 4) Certificates of Bachelor and Master for Ph.D. Program candidates

 5) Recommendation letter by director of international affairs

 6) Study plan

 7) TOEFL score (if possible but highly preferred)
